By submitting a listing or browsing the Current Classifieds, you agree to the following terms:

1. Purpose

The Current Classifieds is a community-focused platform designed to connect local residents with opportunities, sales, events, and notices. These services are intended primarily for individual use. Businesses are required to advertise through The Current’s business advertising options.

2. User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information you provide.

  • You must have the legal right to sell, promote, or announce the item/event you post.

  • Contact details you submit must be current and correct.

3. Prohibited Content

The following types of listings are not allowed:

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products

  • Animals (including pets, livestock, or animal parts)

  • Drugs, controlled substances, or related paraphernalia

  • Offensive, illegal, or misleading material

  • Solicitation schemes

The Current reserves the right to refuse, edit, or remove any listing that does not meet community standards or these guidelines.

4. Payment & Duration

  • Classifieds run for the duration purchased (e.g., 2–4 weeks depending on package).

  • Fees are non-refundable once a listing is posted.

  • Upgrades (Featured Listings, gallery images, etc.) are optional and must be paid at time of submission.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • The Current is not responsible for the quality, safety, or accuracy of items, services, or opportunities listed.

  • Transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller.

  • Users should exercise caution, meet in safe public locations, and use their best judgment.

  • The Current disclaims all liability for loss, damage, or disputes arising from use of this service.

6. Moderation

  • All submissions are subject to review.

  • The Current may edit for length, clarity, or format.

  • Any post may be removed at our discretion without refund if it violates these Terms.

7. Agreement

By using the Current Classifieds, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
