  5. Know the difference. Classifieds are for individuals. Businesses must advertise through The Current’s business packages.

  • Big-ticket personal items like vehicles, furniture, appliances, equipment, and garage/estate sales. Businesses must advertise through our Business & Directory packages.

  • Yes! Once posted, you can email our team with updates, or let us know when your item has sold so we can mark it.

  • We love to hear when items sell quickly — that means your listing worked! Because each package is a flat fee that includes your placement and promotion from the start, we aren’t able to issue refunds if an item sells before the end of the listing period. Once your item is sold, just let us know and we’ll mark it as SOLD, so buyers can see your success.

  • All listings appear on CurrentClassifieds.org and the platform is promoted through The Current’s website and email digest. Premium listings may also receive a social media feature.

  • Each listing includes the seller’s preferred contact information (phone or email). Reach out directly to arrange details.

  • We recommend meeting sellers in public, using cash or secure payment apps, and never sharing personal or banking details. Our Classifieds are local-only, which helps cut down on scams.

  • Please report it immediately to our team. We review all submissions and will remove anything that doesn’t meet our standards.
